Customer Service Representative

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team in Ontario, Ca. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of banking transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. As a Bank Teller, you will serve as the face of the bank, providing assistance to customers with their daily financial needs.Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist them with various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and payments.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.

Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies at the end of each shift.

Provide information on bank products and services, such as accounts, loans, and online banking.

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues or direct them to the appropriate department.

Promote and cross-sell bank products to meet customer needs.

Process currency, checks, and other financial instruments with accuracy and attention to detail.

Assist in maintaining the security and confidentiality of customer information.

This role requires standing for extended periods.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bilingual Spanish a must

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in banking or finance is a plus.

Previous experience in cash handling or customer service preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with banking software and technology is a plus.

Must have experience in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls. Proven experience in call center customer service is required. Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences. Proficiency in data entry procedures and techniques is essential. Experience in email correspondence, with strong written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is necessary. Experience in order entry processes and systems is required. Ability to schedule appointments effectively, managing multiple schedules if needed. Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer queries effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Must have a high degree of reliability, commitment, and professionalism. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
