Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerJob DescriptionThe Senior & Principal Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the full software development life cycle. Working on a small team and leading programs, the Embedded Systems Engineer will be tasked with architecture development, implementation, code reviews, and testing.Responsibilities
Lead and participate in the full software development life cycle.
Develop architecture and implement software solutions.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Perform testing to validate software functionality and reliability.
Essential Skills
Experience with microcontrollers (STM family or any microcontroller experience).
Experience with RTOS (open to any platform).
Development experience in the medical device industry.
Proficiency in C (versions 14 & 17).
Knowledge of UI software such as Qt or similar.
Experience with UART and SPI.
Proficiency in Python.
Object-oriented programming skills.
Experience with multithreading.
Strong debugging skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
4+ years of experience for the Senior role.
8+ years of experience for the Principal role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes a Medical Device R&D site with 40 team members nationally and 12 locally. The engineering team consists of software, firmware, and hardware engineers.
