Our virtual law firm is setting up a small financial service subsidiary, and we’re looking for a project / office manager, detail-oriented, multitasking type who can handle basic budgets and excel spreadsheets for . Knowledge of Quickbooks would be helpful, but not necessary.

We work with companies to establish basic budgets and income forecasts, prepare basic journals, put together basic financial statements (ideally within Quickbooks or alternative software), and then work with accounting teams to prepare for filings for the client-companies and the interface / ancillary financials that tie into their business (i.e., understanding of the basic payables and receivables).

I don’t need degrees, but I need somebody who is focused, a self-starter, a quick learner, and a person with drive who would like to help us create a program that could grow into a significant subsidiary of our firm.

Basic office administration, problem solving, analytic abilities, and understanding or preparing and presenting materials for lenders and clients is essential. I’ve got more than enough degrees, so I’m looking for the knowledge, sophistication and understanding of somebody who can help me start up and maintain this business as an assistant or as a person who can become the project manager.

This starts as a part time position, generally 4-5 hours/day, at least 2 days/week in-office in Orange, and 3-5 days per week available for Zoom and follow through. It should grow to full time over the next 60 days.
