Position Overview
Are you a detail-oriented and driven individual with a strong background in accounting? Express Employment Professionals, Anaheim South, is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in Anaheim. As aAccounts Payable Clerk you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes for our client in South Anaheim and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and obtaining proper approvals.
Maintain vendor records, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs, adhering to payment terms and schedules.
Monitor and analyze expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related inquiries.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Some experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or entry level accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and vendors professionally.
High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
