Overall responsibility: The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic learner, detail orientated and ready to fast track to a full time Junior Project Management position.

The is an entry level position with the intent that a successful Assistant Project Manager will grow into a full time Junior Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with our team of two Project Managers and field installation crew. The Assistant PM is responsible for specific tasks such as submittal packages, order placement, order tracking and preparing for installation. The Assistant Project Manager will also coordinate with the Company’s field installation crew and customers. A successful Assistant Project Manager will be enthusiastic learner, will possess excellent time management skills, ability to follow quick instructions, superior organization skills, a mechanical aptitude and dedication to getting the job done.

Hours: Part time or full time depending on the candidates preference. Part is 24 HR min – 32 HR max, full time is 40 hours. Flexible work schedule within normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM).

Compensation: $25/Hour, company issued cell phone, mileage reimbursement. Assistant Project Managers may be eligible for a performance based commission program after their probationary period.

Terms of Employment: At-will.

About L2 Specialties: L2 Specialties is a small business in the Commercial Construction industry, specifically with movable partitions & folding door systems. Our clients are some of Southern California’s most reputable architects and general contractors and work on many of the most innovation commercial construction projects. Our team is comprised of 8 individuals (4 are in office & 4 telecommute); our staff has long tenures and as a team we strive for responsiveness, accuracy, technical understanding and superior customer service. Our field installation crew performs our installations, usually several per day. The office is a casual, fast paced work environment where staff enjoy flexible but consistent work schedules. It is a fast-paced environment where a “multi-tasker” and self-starter will certainly thrive.

Qualifications:

Some college experience required.

Have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Reside within a reasonable distance to L2 Specialties, Inc’s. Orange County headquarters.
