Malibu Farm Lido in Newport Beach, CA is looking for sales associates to join our growing team. We are located on 3420 Via Oporto Suite 101. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working, with an eye for detail and a finger on the pulse of trending retail.Our waterfront Malibu Farm Homestore is carefully curated with pieces from local and global artisans. We are looking to bring someone on who shares in our vision for design and execution of the space and products.$18/19 hr depending on experience + 5% CommissionThis position is intended to be a lead and will contribute to driving our sales in store and online + supporting in inventory and merchandising of the store!Malibu Farm Ambassador:Act as a brand representative that reflects our company's values.Customer Engagement:Engage with our customers who visit our storefront, provide detail on products in store, and create an environment that is welcoming for all of our guests.Teamwork + Communication: Positivity: contributes to the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others Team Player: collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and jumping in to support the needs of the team Adaptable: exhibits a willingness to learn and adapt; is flexible to change and open to try new ways of doing things Store Maintenance + Visual Creativity: Environment: maintains Malibu Farm Home's visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer Product Flow: supports the shipment process to gain awareness of product including what’s new and what’s already on the floor Awareness: adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store What you will do: Engage guests with a friendly and outgoing demeanor. Advise customers by providing information on products. Process payments by totaling purchase. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assisting with the packaging and shipment of online orders. Maintain accurate inventory logs. Assist our buyer with receiving and merchandising products in the store. Guiding customers toward top-selling and prioritized products. Assembling display products for the introduction of new products Basic Qualifications At least 16 years of age with ability to meet work permit requirements, if applicable. Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including, holidays, evenings, and weekends. Preferred Qualifications Must be available to work weekdays and or weekends. 1+ year of Retail Experience required. Customer focused, with an ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees. Strong sense of urgency, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to change. Proficiency and comfort using Square, POS systems, and other forms of fulfillment technology.
