Dennis Bedell Contracting is a licensed company established in 1974, specializing in concrete site work, flat work, and masonry in residential, commercial and governmental projects. Dennis Bedell Contracting is looking for an experienced, organized, energetic and detailed oriented Construction Estimator/Project Coordinator.
The Estimator/Project Coordinator should work closely with our Project Manager to make sure that the project runs smooth. On any given day, the Estimator/Project coordinator may carry out any of the following tasks: correspondence with subcontractors, proposals, contracts, change orders, close out packages and RFI’s. Direct envelopment with tradespeople to ensure they have the information needed to be successful. Assist with pricing of change orders and preparing invoices. Facilitate on-site meetings and conference calls.
Please Note: Applicants must be able to read Construction Blueprints/Drawings
Position will require:
Residential / Commercial / governmental Construction estimating experience
Understand Construction Documents, such as: Plans, Contracts, etc.
Project searching
Using software to do the quantity take-off for projects and composing proposals.
Prepare documents for bidding new projects, and completion of biddings.
Assist with Change Orders and Invoices
Proceed bid process and subcontracting outreach
Collect and organize project tasks by keeping close communication with project operations team
Computer Proficiency with MS Word, and MS Excel.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Experience in construction project coordination/management (preferred)
Salary: $15/hr- $28/hr-Depending on experience and ability
