Job description

Looking for a dishwasher/ grill cook for night shifts and weekends.

Monday - Friday 4-close

Saturday and Sunday 11-4

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and menu specifications.

Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including regular cleaning of equipment and work areas.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours, assisting with other cooking tasks as needed.

Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating any shortages to management promptly.

Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for catering events or banquets as required.

Adhere to all safety protocols while operating kitchen equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting, preferably as a Grill Cook or similar role.

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and grill operation.

Familiarity with food handling standards and best practices in hospitality environments.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.

Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus but not required.

Must possess a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
