Now Hiring a Experienced Host / Hostess for the Award Winning Restaurant URBANA at the Anaheim Packing House specializing in Mexican Gastronomy & Mixology. URBANA is a upscale dining full service restaurant with high traffic, located on the lower level of the Anaheim Packing House.
At URBANA, our Host / Hostess is to create the finest experiences for our guests, provide exceptional service and create a connection with our guests with warmth, energy, teamwork and professionalism.
Essential Functions:
Maintain a professional image.
Deliver proper, friendly phone etiquette
Take, manage, call back and communicate reservations to the GM and Owners.
Enthusiastically and warmly engage guests upon arrival
Manage waiting guests.
Designate table assignments and tent "reserved" tables.
Escort guests to assigned table.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards.
Bid farewell to departing guests.
Perform assigned side work duties.
Maintain professional relationships.
Other tasks as needed.
Competencies
Required Education and Experience:
Proven restaurant host / hostess experience
Customer-oriented approach and patience
Advanced speaking, reading and writing in English
Problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent people skills
Responsible and trustworthy
Attention to cleanliness and safety
Knowledge of OpenTable and ALOHA POS will be considered a plus
High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus
