Himizu Modern Japanese Fusion is a modern Japanese BBQ and Sushi concept that is looking to hire line cooks, sushi chefs, and food runners to join our team for our evening shifts. Our shifts are from Tuesday-Sunday 2:00 PM until 10PM so we are looking for individuals who can work within those days (including weekends).
We are currently looking for Line Cooks, Sushi Chefs, and Food Runners with the following qualities below:
Line Cooks:
Job type: Full-time/Part-time
Qualifications:
- Previous Experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members
Sushi Chef:
Job type: Full time/ Part time
Qualifications:
- Sushi expertise: previous experience/knowledge as a sushi chef is a must with a strong understanding of sushi preparation techniques and sushi presentation (fish preparation, etc…)
- Exceptional knife skills and the ability to handle delicate fish and seafood
- Knowledge of various Japanese dishes and culture since sushi is considered an art form
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members
Food Runner:
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Qualifications:
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen and serving staff.
-Customer-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
-Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
