ZA Restaurant Group known for their eclectic bars / dining experience / rooftops / live music are searching for a restaurant supervisor / manager to cross-train and add to their team. As a restaurant supervisor / manager you will be an integral member of our management team. This candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a supervisor or manager in the food and beverage industry as well as possess exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead by example as the role model for customer service and restaurant standards
Oversee the day-to-day restaurant operations
Ensure excellent service from all team members
Implement as well as follow all operational policies, procedures and maintain consistency
Hire, train, supervise and schedule staff
Ensure the restaurant has adequate coverage for efficient operations with consideration and attention to weather, holidays, reservations, etc.
Able to work flexible hours that include evenings, holidays and weekends
Knowledge of all food and beverage safety regulations as well as sanitation processes
Able to handle a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
Knowledge with restaurant scheduling, reservation and POS software/systems
Effectively communicate team wins, losses, priorities, best practices as well as areas for improvement
Coach, counsel and effectively manage any internal issues/conflicts
Address guest complaints in a graceful and solution driven manner
Maintain a safe working environment
Contribute to the growth of the restaurant and improve operations

Compensation: Hourly, $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, DOE
