Todos Santos is a vibrant and authentic dining destination known for its delectable dishes and warm, inviting atmosphere. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, creativity, and exceptional service. Our culinary team is passionate about delivering unforgettable dining experiences to our guests.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team and lead our kitchen operations. There is lots of room for growth in this position, we recently opened a second location on Balboa Island and we're constantly striving to grow the brand.

Position Summary:

As the Kitchen Manager at Todos Santos, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes managing the kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with the executive chef to create and execute an exceptional menu. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.

- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food and supplies.

- Collaborate with the team and ownership on menu planning, costing, and seasonal offerings.

- Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance and functionality.

- Implement and maintain efficient kitchen processes and workflows.

- Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.

- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant.

- Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively.

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
