The Bungalow Restaurant Corona Del Mar
We are a Modern American Steakhouse. As the Sous Chef, you will be integral and responsible for the success of the restaurant operations. As a growing restaurant, we are looking for an experienced leader that wants to be part of the growth and success!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to stand for 8 hours.
Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
Maintain an up to date, serve safe or comprise food handler's certification.
2 years minimum experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
Able to lift at least 60 pounds.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Prepares all food related projects including Holidays, dining room, and special events.
Supervises the preparation of all food items.
Assist with hires and trains new employees to the department.
Assists with making schedules according to demands.
Supervises and evaluates all departmental personnel.
Communicates with the FOH Management team.
Maintains records of personnel performance, labor cost, sickness, and overtime in the kitchen.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Responsible for maintaining Food Costs and COGS.
