Location: Newport Beach, CA
Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience
Employment Type: Part-time/ per diem
Need: 1-2 days per week, scheduled in 4-8 hour shifts.
We are an Orthopedic group and have an opening for a medical assistant in our start-up Newport Beach satellite office. We specialize in Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Adult Reconstruction for the Knee, Hip, and Shoulder. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a friendly, professional environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with patient care and procedures
Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and medical information
Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and sterilization
Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification
Previous experience in a medical office or similar environment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
