Mason Reconstruction is hiring a General Laborer to join our team for multifamily renovation projects. This entry-level position is perfect for someone ready to work hard, learn, and grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with various tasks on our job sites; including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
Support skilled tradespeople with construction and renovation duties as directed
Load and unloading materials and equipment, ensure all tools and equipment are available for use and are organized
Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary work structures
Perform additional general labor tasks as needed to assure project completion
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
May operate machinery and heavy equipment when needed
Qualifications:
Prior construction experience is a plus, but not required
Basic trade tools (hammer, screwdriver set, tape measure, wrench set, utility knife, wire cutters, level, pliers, leather gloves and safety glasses)
Physically able to lift heavy objects, stand, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
Ability to complete assigned tasks on time and with a high level of efficiency
Have a positive attitude and capable of taking directions to learn trade skills
Strong work ethic, reliable, and works well in a team environment
CA driver’s license with a clean record, and reliable transportation to job sites
Must pass a Drug Screen
