We are a leading manufacturing company creating unique and healthy Japanese style confectioneries creating delicious and healthy Japanese food by producing Azuki and Mochi products.
The position of Freezer/Palletizing Operator consists of setting up and operating packaging equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures for the production of all products developed by company.
Key Responsibilities:
Must respond quickly to any problems that occur during operation and report to plant supervisor and/or factory manager immediately
Support any heavy duty tasks constantly.
Palletize and wrap pallets.
Prepare, set up equipment and tools including but not limited to attending to operating machinery to ensure continuous operation
Clean equipment, tools and work area using sterilizing and cleansing solutions.
Inspect final product to ensure packaged product is within specified company quality standards
Report daily food safety, food quality and employee safety and machine equipment problems to Plant Lead Operator and/or immediate supervisor.
May be required to help the production line to clean, wash and sterilize equipment and tools using sterilizing and cleansing solutions according to the Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) system
Requirements:
Frequently work inside the freezer
Obtains and practices a general understanding of equipment functions, standard operating procedures and safety policies.
May be required to help pack products in warehouse following the company packing procedures/standards, and warehouse safety rules.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Pay attention scrupulously to condition of the block ice to ensure continuous operation.
