Job Summary: The position of Warehouse Operator consists of documenting and monitoring all raw materials, equipment and other items received and stored. Operating industrial truck for moving inbound, inter warehouse and outbound product to assist shipping and receiving of finished items, works in process, various ingredients, and packing materials. Organize inventories at first-in-first-out basis to ensure efficient space and safety in warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Perform and document all receiving and shipping, stocking, packing, repacking and additional warehouse functions.
Operate industrial truck to client trucks in a timely and accurate manner without causing any damage.
Prepare and document ingredients and packing materials for the production as instructed by the production side or Warehouse Manager.
Perform to receive, ship and store various materials and ingredients from/to warehouse, storage freezer and/or cooler. Delivery to plant department as requested.
Conduct warehouse and freezer inventory periodically as scheduled.
Report daily food safety, food quality and employee safety problems to immediate supervisor.
Report any accidents and near misses to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
Qualifications.
High School Diploma
Conversational English Skills
Communication/Interpersonal Skills
Forklift Certification
Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, stoop and reach
Rate: $23.00
Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Friday 5:30am – 2:00pm
