This is a physically demanding role focused primarily on manual tasks and material movement.
Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload delivery trucks and containers, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
Material Movement: Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies to move materials, freight, and stock to designated storage and production areas.
Sorting and Staging: Receive, sort, and stage products according to shipment or storage location instructions.
Palletizing & Wrapping: Secure and wrap products onto pallets for safe shipping, ensuring all loads are stable.
Order Picking Support: Assist with general picking, packing, and labeling tasks to support the Order Fulfillment team.
Warehouse Cleanliness: Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, removing debris, breaking down cardboard, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area (5S standards).
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications & Physical Demands
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform heavy manual labor for the entire shift.
Lifting Capacity: Must be physically capable of consistently lifting and moving items weighing up to [Specify Weight, e.g., 50 lbs] independently.
Reliability: Proven record of punctuality and excellent attendance; ability to reliably report to work at 5:00 AM.
Teamwork: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers.
Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Equipment: Prior experience with a pallet jack or material handling equipment is a plus.
