We are seeking a compassionate and organized legal assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist in providing support to clients who are disabled and unable to work, offering guidance and expertise during a challenging time.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering phone calls and addressing client inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.

Interacting with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their cases.

Filing and managing documents electronically using our case management software.

Performing word processing tasks including drafting letters, legal documents, and correspondence.

Assisting with case preparation and general administrative duties.

Demonstrating good judgment and common sense in daily tasks and decision-making.

Maintaining confidentiality and complying with all legal and ethical standards.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach when dealing with clients.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office software.

Previous experience in a legal or disability-related field is preferred but not required.
