We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our immigration consulting team.
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide critical support to our lawyers and staff in managing client files,
preparing documents, and ensuring seamless administrative operations.
No prior experience is necessary, as we offer training and guidance to help you grow in this role.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Manage and maintain client files, both physical and digital
- Prepare and review legal documents, such as applications, petitions, and correspondence
- Assist lawyers in preparing for cases, interviews
- Conduct research and gather relevant information to support case preparation
- Coordinate with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders to schedule appointments and meetings
- Maintain accurate records, calendars, and deadlines
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and phone
- Form Typing, PERM (ETA 9089), Forms I-140, DS-260, I-130, N-400 etc.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in a legal setting or related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized software
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
