Small Orange County based firm seeks an attorney/paralegal with civil litigation and workers compensation experience (preferred). Candidate should possess excellent research & writing skills & experience handling cases from start to finish and managing all aspects of cases, including but not limited to research, drafting pleadings, handling discovery and document review, writing briefs and preparing and arguing motions in both state and federal courts. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform full range of litigation/workers comp related paralegal duties including, but not limited to assisting with client intakes, drafting pleadings, writing briefs and preparing (and arguing for attorney) motions in both state and federal courts, handle discovery and document review, prepare case management statements, giving client status updates/hearing notices and reminders, trial preparation: prepare exhibit lists, witness lists and trial binders, etc.

- Willingness and ability to adapt to a variety of duties;
- Must be organized;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent research skills;
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
