Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation law, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to our attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing and managing workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information and documentation.

Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

Coordinate and schedule depositions, medical appointments, and court appearances.

Communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel to obtain necessary information and updates.

Maintain accurate and organized case files and records.

Assist in trial preparation and attend hearings as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by attorney and/or office managers to support the successful resolution of cases.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal in workers' compensation law.

Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High level of professionalism and integrity.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsible and dedication to your work production

Knowledge in EAMS.

Team player and ability to work independently as well.

Spanish speaker

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Experience:

Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)

Workers' compensation: 1 year (Required)
