Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
-Able to: Read Blueprint, Use Hand gauges, take various measurements i.e., catipilers. Use Hand tools.
REQUIREMENT: READ/WRITE ENGLISH
REQUIRED: SEND RESUME TO REVIEW
Hourly rate: $19.00 - $22.00 – Based on experience
Schedule: 5:30am – 2:00pm ( ½ hour lunch)
-Steal toe or composite toed shoes required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Pertaining to incoming Materials, Components and Products:
Performs visual examinations for cosmetic defects, cracks, etc. and to verify that the product generally matches the description.
Verifies that purchased assemblies function as intended.
Performs mechanical measurements to verify that each product meets the dimensional requirements set forth on the drawing(s).
Verifies that all process and material requirements have been met and certified by the supplier.
◦ Includes Hardness Testing
Document all inspection and test results both on paper (Inspection Reports, DMRs, etc.) and in the GC Inspection Data database.
Communicates with the stockroom when products are acceptable and ready for warehousing.
General Quality Assurance:
Maintains Q.C. Part Files including updating drawing revisions and inspection plans.
Prepares inspection plans that will ensure that product quality is in accordance with the applicable requirements.
Transacts parts and assemblies out of RII to an appropriate warehouse location using Avante.
Transacts parts and assemblies in and out of MRB using Avante.
Maintains control over the MRB area and its contents.
Manages the inspection tool recall and calibration system.
Maintains the Inspection Area including the tool cabinets.
Inspects products from stock and/or WIP as necessary to address quality issues in Assembly.
Manages the distribution, recall and calibration of inspection tools and equipment throughout the facility.
