Assistant Apartment Manager (Part time)

Part-time on-site Assistant Apartment Manager for a106-unit complex in La Habra needed. Will work approximately 24 hours a week. Position will start out on a temporary basis and may stay part time/temp. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL and CREDIT BACKGROUND CHECK. Working hours are 9am-5:30pm

Requirements:

Prior residential property management experience strongly preferred.

May be required to run errands such as bank deposits, or go to the post office.

Have leasing and sales ability and experience. Review and approve rental applications

Office, admin and bookkeeping skills, including rent collection and vendor control. Must be organized and able to meet deadlines.

Ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers, and management.

Ability to manage on-site full and part-time employees.

Have some basic maintenance knowledge to supervise maintenance personnel and to assess required maintenance activities. Prepare unit inspection report.

Manage the on-going maintenance and upkeep of the property.

Computer Skills.

English proficiency.

Prepare and update, as necessary, all lease documents, notices, advertising, etc.

Ensure that vendors are providing quality service for their costs. Bidding out jobs to ensure the best workmanship and prices for the services required.
