Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations, ensuring efficient supply chain processes from procurement to delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to optimize logistics performance.
Duties:
Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Schedule and dispatch all third party logistics
Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Maintain databases of logistics information
Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability and reliability
Create and prepare reports on logistics performance measures
Constant communication with carriers to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency and minimize cost
Create, dispatch and check in all third party loads in “Cyclution”
Build solid relationships with brokers to get the best prices
Evaluate and verify all incoming log documents for accounts using databases (Google Maps, Truepeoplesearch, USPS, etc.)
Preparation of all completed logs (Receiving Report, Signed 197, Logs, Proof of Delivery, etc.)
Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and freight costs.

Skills:
Proficiency in data analysis skills, including experience with SQL for data collection and reporting.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
Knowledge of transportation management processes, including freight handling and shipping regulations.
Familiarity with category management, demand planning, and production planning techniques.
Excellent negotiation skills for vendor management and contract discussions.
Ability to perform materials handling tasks safely, including operating forklifts when necessary.
Strong analytical skills for process improvement initiatives within logistics operations.
Understanding of e-commerce logistics challenges and solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
