Recruiting Assistant

PrideStaff South Orange County, affiliated with one of the nation’s leading staffing organizations, is in search of an enthusiasticRecruitingAssistantto join our Mission Viejo team. We’re a small, but very busy and productive office that has been serving top local companies and job seekers in South Orange County since 2013. We're looking for someone with a desire to build relationships with clients and assist candidates in finding their nextjob. Bilingual Spanish is a Big Plus! It’s important to have a passionate work ethic, strong desire to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. This individual will assist recruiters by performing administrative and recruiting support functions and offer marketing assistance to attract candidates and clients.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM (with some flexibility) and thepay is $22to $25/hour. There's also a monthly profit-sharing plan available after 90 days of being hired.

A few of the things you’ll be doing:

Answer phones, assisting callers with requested information.

Greet candidates who walk into the office and provide information and answer questions.

Provide administrative and clerical support and maintain accurate recruiting records.

Review resumes of applicants to determine qualifications for core positions.

Assist in recruiting top level administrative and light industrial professionals; conduct pre-screen interviews and identify temporary, temporary- to-hire and direct hire opportunities for these candidates.

Conduct new hire orientation and track applicants through the recruiting process.

Conduct business reference checks on prospective candidates.

Enter new hire information into company’s database.

Assist with the Field Associate payroll.

Keep job postings up to date.

On-going projects & other essential tasks as needed.

If you have these qualities, we’d like to talk to you:

Previous administrative and customer service experience

Bachelors degree preferred

Previous staffing or recruiting experience is a plus!

Proficient with MS Office

Comfortable with Google Workspace

Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to include being a decisive and confident communicator.

Self-motivated and driven to succeed with a proactive work approach and solution-focused attitude.

Skill to type 45+ words per minute.

Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus!
