Saywitz Properties is looking for an Onsite Resident Manager for our apartment complex located at 1826 W. Sallie Ln in the city of Anaheim. The apartment complex consists of 30 units and the property is located at Katella and Euclid, near Disneyland. The property has onsite laundry facilities, a 24-hour security system, private garages, and security gated. The property is close to retail amenities and schools and consists of 1 & 2 Bedroom floorplans. The manager's unit is a 2-bedroom 1-bath floorplan on the ground level and will be available for move-in in November 15, 2024, to December 1, 2024. We are currently looking for an onsite resident manager who will live at the property and occupy one of the units. This is a great opportunity for a couple or an individual. The unit will be remodeled.
THE ONSITE MANAGER POSITION DOES NOT PROVIDE A SALARY AND ONLY PROVIDES A DISCOUNTED RENT. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE JOB POSTING CAREFULLY, AS APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE SOME OTHER SOURCE OF INCOME TO SUPPLEMENT THE RENTAL DISCOUNT PROVIDED. THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION! APPLICANTS MUST MEET REQUIREMENTS AND WILL REQUIRE A BACKGROUND CHECK AND CREDIT HISTORY.
The normal rent for the 2-bedroom units at this property is $2,495 per month. The onsite resident manager will be provided a discount of $600 per month and will be required to sign a 1-year lease. The manager will also be required to provide a security deposit, just like a normal lease. The manager can also earn commissions of $200 per unit for their assistance in leasing available apartments for rent.
Duties for the onsite resident manager will include:
1. Reside at the property and provide general oversight on a day-to-day basis.
2. Assist in the showing of vacant units and renting empty units as they come due.
3. Coordinate with the property’s maintenance staff for any minor maintenance items to ensure they are maintained at a professional level.
4. Ensure the property is kept in a safe and clean condition, including but not limited to, picking up trash, keeping the gates closed, overseeing the laundry facilities, and coordinating with other residents.
5. Assist in collecting rents and distributing notices at the property, including notices of inspection, 3-day notices to pay or quit, or other tenant information notices.
6. Address any minor social issues or parking issues at the property which may arise.
