We are a family owned and operated business in business over 20 years looking for a Cashier / Gas Station Attendant at our Buena Park EZ Gas location. The cashier position offers Part Time (20-30 hours per week) with the potential to become Full Time for the right candidate. The position offers flexible hours and is a great opportunity for a college student, retiree and/or someone looking to pick up some extra money.
Basic Responsibilities Include:
Greet Customers with a smile, be friendly, and offer prompt service
Efficiently operate cash register Operate gasoline console
Sweep and mop floors Clean and sanitize restrooms
Clean shelving and racks Clean all windows, doors, and cooler doors
Clean gasoline islands and pumps Empty trash inside the store and on the lot
Stock items on shelf/racks, rotate all stock, and pull out-of-date stock off the shelf
Stay familiar with the products and prices in the store
Come to work on time and in uniform
Ensure that the manager is aware of all sales, cash or operating discrepancies
Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift as per company guidelines
Report any equipment (card readers, gas pumps, coolers, lights, plumbing fixtures, etc.) which are not working to your station manager
To perform other tasks assigned by the store manager
Qualifications:
Cashier experience, EXCEPTIONAL Customer service skills, dependability, Integrity, etc.
Positive attitude Punctual Hard working Reliable Good Math Skills
Must have references and clean background (Pass a criminal/drug background check)
You must be comfortable with rotating shifts. Must have own transportation
Must be able to work with little or no supervision Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Must be at least 21 years old & Adhere to all city, county, state and federal tobacco regulations.
