Sales Account Executive – Shipping Consultant

Our client, a leading logistics company, is looking for a Shipping Consultant to join their

team. This is a salaried position with a bonus and high growth potential for someone who is a

natural at selling, self-motivated, competitive, hard-working, and has a strong desire to be

rewarded for high achievement.

The Shipping Consultant develops a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B)

and business-to-consumer (B2C) in an open territory, all around the United States through

means of cold-calling and/or outside canvasing. This position is responsible for achieving

sales goals by generating UPS and LTL revenue growth through the development of new

business. You will work closely with a customer service team who will help manage

customer shipments, along with the daily operations, such as onboarding and servicing an

account. This role requires consistent growth on new monthly accounts while maintaining

your current book of business.

The Shipping Consultant position has been recession-proof, and the company continued to experience double-digit growth during Covid. This is a unique and challenging business-to-business sales opportunity for the right person looking for unlimited growth potential, including opportunities for profit sharing and future franchise ownership.

Uncapped residual commission and bonus structure, along with a healthy base salary.

This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

 Grows and maintains a book of business (UPS ground, air, int’l and freight)

 Persistently searching and identifying new sources of business

 Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills needed

to perform at Platinum-level Preferences

 Must be personable, have a good phone voice and be able to confidently sell our

services and value proposition

 Positive, energetic, enthusiastic, honest and shows integrity

 A hunter-sales mentality with a positive, yet tough-skinned disposition

 A well-developed pattern of leadership, achievement, and competitive skills

 Previous cold-calling skills and a proven track record of success are a plus

 Prior experience in Logistics (Preferred)

 College Degree (Preferred)

 Proficiency with computers and email communications (Required)

 Willing to travel when necessary for training, and corporate events and earned Platinum

club trips

Pay Rate/Base Salary

o Compensation: Base Pay + Commission + Bonus + Benefits

o Base Salary: $48,000 to make 75k/80k 1st year. Their 2nd year reps are at 6 figures.
