Makan Yacht Group is looking for a motivated Assistant Technician to join our team! You'll support skilled marine technicians in performing repairs and maintenance on luxury yachts across Marina del Rey and nearby marinas.

SCHEDULE
- Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
- Day Work Week | You choose which day you’d like off
- 8 Hours of Guaranteed Overtime per week
- Weekends are typically not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in repairs and general maintenance on yachts
- Help with lifting, holding materials/tools, and cleaning work areas
- Use hand and power tools
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing marine diesel inboard/outboard engines
- Support electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
- Assist in purchasing parts and supplies as needed
- Track and summarize tasks in our timekeeping system
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to get on and off vessels safely and comfortably
- Interested in a long-term career in the marine industry
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
