Job Title: Working Assistant Superintendent
Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Working Assistant Superintendent to lead and engage in all phases of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in finish carpentry and electrical work, with the ability to manage a job site and address general questions effectively. You should be able to work under the direction of a Supervisor/Contractor, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and participate in various construction tasks, including finish carpentry and electrical work.
Lead and manage the job site team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Answer general questions and provide solutions on-site.
Maintain a clean, secure, and safe work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or in a similar role within residential or commercial construction.
Handyman-level skills across multiple trades.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency with a range of construction tools and materials.
Reliable transportation for traveling between job sites in the Newport Beach area.
Ability to provide at least two professional references.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Adhere to strict safety protocols while using tools and equipment.
Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.
Requires good manual dexterity and stamina.
