We are a growing, small family-owned used car dealership located in the beautiful suburbs of Rancho Santa Margarita looking for a part-time Dealership Lot Assistant. If you are a detail and customer service oriented individual, please apply! (no experience necessary, we will train on the job!)
Duties:
maintain current inventory (ensure cars are ready to show - sufficient gas or charged (EV), washed as needed and started weekly, etc.)
organize lot by vehicle make and model to look presentable and clean
prepare and stage cars for customer appointments
partner with CEO at weekly auctions to ensure the cars we purchase are ready for sale (inspect body, electricals, engine, etc.)
assist transporter with organizing new inventory at delivery
help with delivery and/or pick up of vehicles (on occasion when necessary)
assist with new inventory smogs as needed
performs other duties as assigned by management
tentative schedule (approximately 20 hours weekly): Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays 1pm-5pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm (auction days)
$16/hour, 1099 only (self-employed)
bonus eligible (determined by dealership sales performance)
Qualifications:
no experience necessary, paid training provided
valid, unrestricted CA driver's license with clean driving record
ability to drive automatic and manual transmission highly preferred
HS diploma or GED preferred
ability to maneuver vehicles in tight/small spaces
excellent communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
professional, hard-working and dependable
ability to work with minimal supervision when fully trained
