The Purple Palm restaurant at the Colony Palms Hotel is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team!
Our Executive Chef, Nick Tall, brings a lifelong passion for food and Michelin Star experience to the Purple Palm Restaurant. His original creations focus on exotic flavors and the use of seasonal ingredients. The Colony Palms Hotel is one of Palm Springs' most iconic and luxurious Hotels and the Purple Palm Restaurant is the hotel's crown jewel. Chef Nick brings exciting culinary adventures to the Colony Palms Hotel food and beverage team with a dedication and joy of sharing his culinary experiences from around the world.

Desired Traits:
-A background in fine dinning or upscale restaurants is preferred
-Ability to follow a recipe with multiple steps in English
-Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, including experience in the Pantry Station
-Must have a flexible schedule
Responsibilities include:
-Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef -Food preparation and portioning prior to service -Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment -Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
