Internal Medicine/Primary Care Practice office looking for experienced Medical Assistant who can work both front and back office. Must have experience in a medical office setting and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to learn quickly and retain information. Professional attitude and appearance, good attendance/punctuality. Position requires good working knowledge of all insurance types, scheduling appointments, high volume phone system, appropriate phone etiquette, triaging, medical terminology, medications and uses, rooming of patients, taking vitals, set up and assisting physicians with procedures, patient call backs, patient follow up, refilling prescriptions, prior authorizations, referrals, autoclave and supply ordering. EHR experience a plus.

Good communication skills, demonstrate ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and good computers skills, typing and data entry skills. Qualifications
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant internship
One or more years of Medical Assisting work experience and front office knowledge
Bilingual preferred but not mandatory
One or more years experience using electronic medical records (EMR).
