We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance associate to join the team for an Apartment Community in the La Quinta, CA area.
The Grounds Maintenance associate understands and can work independently to maintain meticulous cleanliness of grounds, common areas, stairwells, hallways, models, offices, and recreation areas. Successful candidates should demonstrate an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and act independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate solid competencies and relationship skills as follows:
Trash pick-up daily
Clean trash area daily
Pull weeds weekly
Sweep halls at least once a week
Sweep curbs twice a week
Check hall lights once a week
Water grounds every day in the season
Check-in and out for lunch, leaving the property, etc.
Vacuum/rake leaves as needed
Help clean common areas and apartments when needed
Help with maintenance as needed
Assist and support the Maintenance Supervisor as requested
Job Requirements:
1 Year of Maintenance experience Must have personal/reliable transportation to get to work
Previous multifamily or commercial property cleaning experience is preferred
Ability to lift 30 lb, perform pushing, pulling, and climbing activities
