We deliver services to clients primarily through BMO Family Office, LLC, BMO Bank N.A., and BMO Delaware Trust. Together, we have over 130 professionals who service approximately 300 families and manage or advise on approximately $20 billion in assets and administer another $75+ billion in assets.Role MandateThis role requires a person who is motivated, eager to learn, likes to get things done and has a mentality of ownership. We seek individuals who can identify issues and develop solutions. The associate will have the opportunity to interact with a dynamic and intellectual group of professionals who believes in improving not only the client’s experience, but the employee experience as well.The Client Operations Team oversees client onboarding, service and administration, coordinates portfolio implementation on a multi-custodial investment platform, and provides alternative investment administration. The associate will learn and assist team members and the functions of the group. In addition, the associate will work with members of the Family Wealth and Investment Advisory teams.Key Dimensions

Accurately complete appropriate know-your-client account documentation and update systems to reflect current information on client accounts

Prioritize and follow up on tasks in a timely fashion

Own certain centralized client service activities and backup on others

Organize and maintain client files

Log, review and track client service activities

Key Accountabilities

Prepare and/or review various client documentation requirements

Setup, input and monitor client and account information on various custodial platforms

Initiate account opening, account maintenance and money movement requests

Manage incoming and outgoing documentation (electronic and other) for the team

Perform various client service activities for client facing professionals

Coordinate investment implementation with internal and external business partners and fund companies, as needed

Process trades, wires, capital calls, and distributions etc.

Support various compliance and anti-money laundering program requirements

Upload and organize account statements and financial documents

Knowledge and Skills

Two to three years financial services experience, preferably in a client service and/or investment operations role

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Knowledge of financial markets or investments is a plus

Familiarity or experience with investment reporting platforms is a plus

Ability to work under tight deadlines and balance/prioritize tasks

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Individual must be able to work independently and in a team

Attention to detail and ability to practically apply written policy and procedures

Salary:$52,800.00 - $98,400.00Pay Type:SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
