Job Summary This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job. The Johnson Center Program Manager ensures implementation and alignment of programs at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford such as the TeleNeonatology and Baby Friendly Hospital programs. The Program Manager is responsible for defining the scope, management, and program implementation, ensuring effective integration of department efforts with operational plans. The Program Manager also functions in the Johnson Center team and is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and completion of special projects. Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

Develops, implements, and manages the strategic programs within the Johnson Center.

Tracks and analyzes program outcome metrics to optimize the effectiveness of current programs. Creates and maintains data dashboards and PowerPoint presentations that provide up-to-date results of program progress. Makes recommendations to management for alternative methods to enhance service performance, productivity, and program direction.

Identifies, evaluates, and manages new business opportunities and marketing initiatives for programs. Actively participates in clinical and outreach planning activities.

Collaborates with vendors on all aspects of services provided including contract implementation, scope of service increases and improvements, and outcome updates. Partners with department business manager to execute all contracts.

Collaborates with inter-department stakeholders such as, Lactation Services, Digital Health, and Clinical Informatics. Acts as a liaison on program implementation from planning and development to day-to-day operational management. Facilitates and supports the process of medical licensing, credentialing, and privileging efforts needed for providing services to external client institutions.

Supports program teams in structuring work and agreed upon key deliverables. Provides training to clinical staff as needed (such as the proper use and operation of Telehealth equipment). Coordinates with Teladoc and CPEI to ensure appropriate orientation and training.

Develops business plans and applications for grants including leading the development of platforms and tools (internally or externally), program development, and budget planning. Partners in further development and implementation of programs in the Johnson Center.

Identifies and researches best practices, benchmarking data, and other supporting documentation for various healthcare related topics.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university

Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.

License/Certification: None

Pay Range Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
