Description We are currently on the lookout for a Payroll Specialist to join our team based in Palo Alto, California. In this role, your primary focus will be to process payroll functions using various accounting software systems. This is a short-term contract opportunity that offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment within the financial services industry.Responsibilities: Utilize accounting software systems for the accurate and efficient processing of payroll. Manage and maintain ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce systems. Oversee 401k and RRSP administration, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Conduct regular audits of payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Handle all queries related to payroll and benefits, providing timely and accurate responses. Ensure all accounting functions are performed in accordance with company standards and regulations. Resolve any issues or discrepancies in payroll in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payroll transactions. Monitor and review ADP financial services to ensure all transactions are accurate and timely. Manage and resolve any issues related to the 'About Time' system. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is necessary. Knowledge of Ceridian software is essential. Ability to operate Dayforce is expected. Must be competent in 401k - RRSP Administration. Experience with About Time software is beneficial. Must possess an understanding of Accounting Functions. Auditing skills are important. Capable of handling Benefit Functions.
