Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerJob DescriptionThe Embedded Systems Engineer will perform design, development, and implementation of software, primarily in C, for embedded applications in the space industry.Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement software in C for embedded applications.
Develop C code from scratch for space flight applications.
Work with various types of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Collaborate directly with multiple engineering disciplines.
Use logic analyzers and oscilloscopes to support software development.
Participate in the development and support of space programs such as Artemis.
Essential Skills
10+ years of experience in embedded applications development.
Proficiency in C.
Experience with RTOS.
Experience in space flight development.
Ability to use logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Must be ITAR compliant.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Working knowledge of Python.
Experience with microprocessors and 1553 communication.
Work EnvironmentSupport various space programs including Artemis. Work directly with prime contractors such as Northrop Grumman.
