Job Description1. Lead the new accessibility annotation program with the goal of getting all designers to provide accessibility annotations for all design deliverables.2. Conduct accessibility design reviews.3. Partner with designers, developers, and product owners to ensure designs and pre-development technical decisions will produce accessible results.4. Facilitate accessibility instruction through annotations and serve as a mentor/coach to designers.5. Support developers with understanding accessibility annotations.6. Partner closely with the Design System team to ensure the highest level of accessibility.7. Assist with Design System documentation on accessibility.8. Hold accessibility design office hours.9. Experience creating annotations and teaching designers how to annotate for accessibility.3. Highest proficiency in interpreting and advising on WCAG 2.2 AA.4. Understanding the overlap between user experience and accessibility, and ability to clearly communicate difference between best practice and a WCAG 2.2 AA requirement.5. High understanding of how ARIA works.6. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.7. Working knowledge of the Scrum Agile SDLC.8. Understand the heuristic strategies that people with disabilities use to interact with the Web.9. Expertise with JAWS, VoiceOver, and keyboard navigation.10. Expertise with Figma. Desired Experience (not required): Experience with axe DevTools, Confluence, and Jira.
