Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, accounting principles, and strong analytical skills. This position will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in financial audits and tax filings.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
