(GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.The Integrated Product Support (IPS) Operations Program Management (OPM) team at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is looking for a Project Administrator to join our team. This position reports to a program manager and is responsible for supporting project scope, schedule, budget, and overall project execution for the development and delivery of sustainment aviation logistics products. E.g. Logistics Management Information (LMI) data, technical publications, and customer training products and activities.This role involves assisting with the administration of operational aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring they meet delivery requirements and maintain high standards of quality.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer daily operational aspects of one or more ongoing projects; participate in project plan development.

Integrate and analyze project plans to ensure milestones and delivery requirements are met.

Assist in the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract(s).

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and may present results to the project management team and/or management.

Provide direction to support staff and may provide direction to less experienced professional staff.

Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Assist with tracking project spending and addressing variances to the budget.

Track Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items and ensure all are submitted on time.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and three or more years of progressive professional project administration experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

General understanding of project management principles, theories, and concepts.

Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills; including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.

Good interpersonal skills to influence and guide employees, managers, customers, and other external parties.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).

Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment.

Ability to travel as required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with aviation logistics products and services.

Proficiency in project management software.

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.

Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
