Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Rancho Cordova, California. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, with a focus on account coding and management of accounting software systems. This opportunity offers long term contract employment, where you'll be immersed in a dynamic work environment.Responsibilities: Accurately process and code invoices using accounting software systems Implement 3-way matching system to ensure accurate accounts payable processing Conduct regular account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Utilize ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for financial operations Maintain accurate customer credit records and take appropriate actions when necessary Perform regular auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial processes Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and processes Assist with other accounting functions as needed, including accrual accounting Use Infor Visual ERP for effective resource planning and management. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is essential. Must have experience with Accounting Software Systems. Experience with Concur is highly desirable. Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required. Must be able to perform all standard Accounting Functions. Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is expected. Auditing skills are essential. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is a plus. Familiarity with 3 Way Matching process is necessary. Must have experience with Infor Visual ERP. Coding Invoices experience is required. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential.
