Description Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Redwood City. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Tier 1-Tier 2 support roles, with a strong background in printer troubleshooting, desktop imaging, system refresh, and basic networking connectivity. This position requires someone who possesses a strong desire to learn and grow within the role.Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1-Tier 2 support for desktop and laptop hardware and software issues.
Troubleshoot printer issues and resolve them efficiently.
Assist with desktop imaging and system refresh tasks.
Deploy hardware including laptop replacements and re-imaging laptops and desktop machines for labs.
Install and configure software applications.
Conduct basic troubleshooting for networking and VPN connectivity.
Utilize strong Windows experience to resolve user issues effectively.
Manage Active Directory, Outlook, and Office 365 accounts.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in Desktop support or technical support roles.
Proficiency in printer troubleshooting and computer hardware connectivity.
Experience with desktop imaging and system refresh procedures.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and software applications.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Outlook, and Office 365 administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Motivated to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
