Senior Accountant

Description The Senior Accountant is responsible for the daily management of financial transactions and procedures of the company. Key duties include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as needed. The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to advise and make recommendations based on detailed financial analyses.Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.

Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.

Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.

Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.

Report analysis and findings to management team.

Oversee junior staff and review their work for accuracy and compliance.

Coordinate and complete annual audits.

Perform periodic internal audits and warn about non-compliance issues.

Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met.

Resolve complex accounting issues or assist other authority personnel in resolving financial issues.

Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting.

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
