Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of security concepts and best practices in third party security domains, such as governance & risk management, access control, cryptography, network security, compliance, and incident management, etc.
Practical knowledge of a wide variety of technologies. Technologies include network & web infrastructures, database architecture, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with people of varying backgrounds at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
Proven skills to simultaneously work with multiple responsibilities and balancing priorities.
Team player with ability to influence people without having direct management authority and motivating them to successfully complete tasks within required timelines.
Organized, methodical and detail-oriented, with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated willingness to roll up your sleeves and go above and beyond to achieve the team's end goals.
The Opportunity
We're looking for someone who is passionate about information security and excited by the challenge of maturing a third-party security program that ensures our vendors meet our high standards for security and privacy. In this role, you'll be assisting the senior Program Manager in managing the CZI Third Party Security assessor team that assesses the security posture of the CZI vendors and making sure the team is supporting the Contract Owners to understand and mitigate security risks. You'll also drive process enhancements and program efficiencies and work cross-functionally with other teams to be a champion and strong partner for security across the organization.
