Manage different fund structures and transitions from holding company to traditional fund structures.
Oversee outsourced consulting on the management company and fund administrator relationships.
Handle growth challenges and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Roll up the sleeves, "peel the onion" as many layers deep as needed, and be the captain of the finance function.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5-10 years in a VC environment, ideally high growth and lean operations.
Expertise in VC/PE accounting, finance, and operations.
CPA or MBA preferred, background in public accounting audit or tax preferred.
Proven ability to work autonomously while also building relationships with partners.
