Assistant Account Manager – SuretyJob Summary :Assist Producer, Account Executive and Account Manager to meet customers’ needs and expectations in a prompt, professional, and accurate manner; and to make every customer feel like they are the most important customer that we service.Job Responsibilities :This is a summary of your included responsibilities, but not limited to;
Coordinate/process new bid bonds, final bonds and commercial/miscellaneous bonds as needed.
Timely and accurately processing of invoice bonds, endorsements, renewals, and new business.
Timely and proper reporting to Surety Carriers
Updating computer database as needed.
Provide technical support to the bond department, staff, producers, and manager as needed.
Ensures confidentiality of information acquired.
Providing administrative support including photocopying, faxing, scanning for email and filing.
Consistently strives to make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction.
Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations
Attends and participates in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.
Update Activities
Filing bond correspondence
Have command of and thorough understanding of Applied Systems, Internet and Microsoft Office products,
Attend meetings as requested
Assist with training of new employees as requested by management
Make suggestions that you feel would improve the department in satisfying our mission, meeting our goals, or making us a more beneficial place to work
Make a positive influence on the surety team
Position Requirements :
Current License
CA Notary
High School Diploma or Equivalent, some insurance courses preferred.
PC operation to an intermediate level, including word processing and data entry.
Standard software programs utilized, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite.
Good problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
Ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Results oriented with a strong client service orientation and proactive in solving client needs with a sense of urgency in all client matters.
Act professional and ethical in all situations
Engage in written and oral communication using proper grammar that is clear and concise with employees and clients
Analyze communication between employees, customers and prospects
Quick and accurate response to clients
Manages time appropriately
Technical proficiency
