Apply today to our House Supervisor position and be a part of the innovation of ideas.Job Summary and QualificationsThe House Supervisor provides coordination of health care services, assists staff in problem identification and resolution, organizes and prioritizes care and resource use during disaster situations, and participates in the hospital's continuous quality improvement program. The House Supervisor, during off shifts, also acts as an onsite administrative representative and serve as a key resource person to patients, families, and patient care staff.
You will demonstrate the ability to assess and interpret age appropriate data about the patient's status in order to identify age-specific needs and provide the care needed.
You will act as a liaison between departments regarding clinical issues and act as the hospital's administrative representative to hospital personnel, patients and families, and outside agencies.
You will assist staff, charge nurses, and directors with staffing issues, and make hospital rounds to departments and assist with the resolution of care issues.
You will handle administrative problems and provide consultation to nursing staff related to problems involved in clinical management of patient care.
You will support delivery of care on nursing units through direct care assistance and problem-solving activities.
What qualifications you will need:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in California required
BCLS certification required
Either BSN or minimum of two years supervisory experience required
Minimum of 3 years acute hospital experience within the past 5 years required
1 year supervisory experience required
Emergency Department or Intensive Care experience highly preferred
Previous House Supervisor experience highly preferred
