We partner with our Nurses at Riverside Community Hospital!Job Summary and QualificationsThe STEMI Coordinator is responsible for the programs and resources that support the navigation of patients through complex healthcare environments for the optimization of care and outcomes. The STEMI coordinator is responsible for assuring compliance with national standards for quality of care for Chest Pain and STEMI patients as dictated by the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and The Joint Commission.Requirements:
Current Valid California RN License
Current BCLS Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with graduation from an accredited school of nursing required (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in a cardiovascular care setting. (Previous critical care experience with an emphasis on cardiology preferred)
Provided leadership in process improvement projects.
Knowledge and application of pertinent computer programs including Microsoft office, imaging software (MUSE, PACS), Meditech,
Able to collect, interpret and analyze data.
Ability to apply critical thinking skills for process improvement and decision making.
All required education elements for the facility programs and certifications, or obtain within 2 years of hire.
